Process Engineer

We now wish to recruit a number of Process Engineers to work on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors. The positions are based in our Cork office; however some projects will require travel and may involve overseas placements. The broad base of work across the PM Group offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from conceptual stage through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification.

 Process Engineer

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Design of process and utilities – preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
• Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
• Ownership of equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phases
• Completion of Design Risk Assessments
• Participation in Technical and Safety reviews
• Interfacing with client design team/end users
• Process optimization/site support

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (Engineers with a primary degree in Mechanical Engineering and relevant process experience may also be considered)
• 4-8 years design experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharma sectors
