Friesland Huishan Dairy Upgrades Infant Nutritionals Facility in Shenyang
As one of the six largest global dairy businesses, FrieslandCampina’s goal is to provide nutritious milk and dairy products to people all over the world. In 2015, as the Chinese Dairy market reached a value of 102 Billion RMB, FrieslandCampina established an Infant formula joint venture with Chinese Dairy producer Huishan Dairy (FHD).

PM Group’s site team has worked alongside FHD to support the safe planning and execution of the joint venture at its Shenyang site in Northern China for the Phase 1 and 2 GMP upgrade of a 50,000 sqm. infant nutritional facility. Our multi-discipline team has been providing engineering design, procurement, and construction support on-site since August 2015, overseeing the delivery of a suite of complex upgrade projects within the facility and recently achieving 500,000 safe man-hours LTI free.

“We faced particular challenges with this project as it was fully operational when we began the upgrade work. Careful and detailed planning was key to the success of minimising shutdown time and achieving this safety milestone.” Said Eric Zhang, Project Manager
