PM Group and Galco recently teamed up to arrange a cycle to raise awareness for two charities 'Cystic Fibrosis Ireland' and Unicef's 'Zinc Saves Kids'.

'Cystic Fibrosis Ireland' and Unicef's 'Zinc Saves Kids' supplementation programme is targeted at scaling up the use of therapeutic zinc which could prevent an estimated 300,000 diarrhoea associated child deaths annually preventing serious illnesses for children in developing countries.

39 riders took part in the cycle which featured 3 different routes geared at varying levels of fitness and ability.  For many, it was their first time to tackle the Wicklow hills and they soon found out that you should never underestimate them!  Despite the inclines and testing weather conditions, everyone managed to cross the finish line.

All proceeds will be split equally between the two charities.
