PM Group’s new office in Shanghai, will service multinational biopharma and food clients in the region. Headed up by Niall O’Loughlin, General Manager, China, the team is made up of highly qualified multi-disciplinary professionals who can offer clients the same quality of service in China as they have come to expect from us around the world.
PM Group chose China to capitalise on future opportunities in what is one of the fastest growing regions in the world, according to Dave Murphy, CEO, PM Group, “The Chinese market is one of the fastest growing food and biopharma markets in the world. We have considerable experience in these sectors and with investment in manufacturing facilities on the increase there, it was an obvious strategic move for the Group.”
Niall O’Loughlin said “We are seeing significant capital investment projects in the food and biopharmaceutical sectors globally and China is attracting a large proportion of that investment. PM Group has extensive expertise in these areas and in China, its clients include leading global companies such as Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Abbott and Heinz.
At the ISPE China conference which ran concurrently with the ChinaPharm 2011 event, PM Group speakers included Alice Redmond, C&Q Technical Director. She spoke on ‘Contamination – a Huge Challenge to the Pharmaceutical Industry’, and PM Group’s Austin Lock delivered a paper on ‘Recent Trends in OSD Facility Design for Consideration in Compliance with the Latest GMP’s.
