PM Group are now recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to be based in our office in Puurs, Belgium.

Job Purpose Summary:

The purpose of the job is to support the delivery of HR Services to our Business Units in Belgium, with provide additional support for Switzerland and ongoing projects in the Netherlands for a duration of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in each business unit and ensure consistent support 
  • Support and assist the payroll process with third-party payroll providers in the region
  • Manage and administer relevant benefits
  • Coordinate with the Recruitment Team regarding resource requirements
  • Manage the Graduate Recruitment process
  • Assist the Regional HR Manager in planning and implementation of initiatives to support all business units to drive key areas including Organisational Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Engagement, Performance Management and Recognition
  • Implement HR policies, procedures and programmes necessary to ensure key stakeholder engagement and performance
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on Employee Relations
  • Manage and maintain all personnel data on the HR Information System
  • Provide assistance to international assignees to ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the roll out of all learning and development initiatives for the region with the Group Learning and Development Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Business/HR
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience as a HR professional
  • Fluent in English and another European Language (Dutch/French/German) is mandatory
  • Excellent IS skills
  • Understanding of Belgium Employment Law
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Flexibility in approach including ability to travel

  • Attentiveness to accuracy and detail
  • Good planning, organisational and analytical skills to support delivery of the HR agenda
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently and work in accordance with organisational requirements as necessitated by the needs of the business
  • Highest levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
