Due to our continued success, we are looking to hire an Intermediate Building Services Engineer with world class expertise to join our existing team. As a member of the Building Services Department you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects all over Europe, and the chance to progress in a hugely respected and established company in design engineering.

The role will incorporate the following responsibilities:

  • HVAC ducting Design
  • HVAC Piping Design
  • System sizing, duct sizing, Pipe sizing, inline component selection
  • Generation of P&ID’s, A&ID’s, general arrangement drawings through Autocad
  • Spatial Planning of Plant rooms and voids, risers etc.
  • Services coordination, layout of equipment and ducting, piping
  • Co-ordinating 3D services
  • Chair model review meetings

Qualification / experience required for the role:

• Ordinary degree (NFQ Level 7 for Ire, FHEQ level 5 UK) preferably in Building Services Engineering.
• We will also consider applicants with a level 6 NFQ qualification with 5 years relevant work experience or an Ordinary degree in Mechanical engineering will also be considered.
• You will have 3+ years’ experience (minimum) in the design of Mechanical Services Engineering, preferably in a consultancy environment.

In addition to the above, you will also have a proven track record in the following:

  • AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Magicad (ideally)
  • Navisworks Manage clash detection experience
  • 3D modelling experience (Revit preferably)
