We currently have a vacancy for a UPW Engineer for a client based in Dublin.

Our client is looking to recruit a UPW Engineer for a role based in Dublin

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with UPW engineering document owner and technicians using the documents (Stakeholders) to ensure the procedures reflect best practice 
  • Develop overall project scope of work
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop deliverables and schedule
  • Monitor PAS and ensure completion of deliverables
  • Escalate to UPW Area Manager for help needed and/or remove roadblocks 
  • Observe preventative maintenance and update existing Job Plans/ Procedures/ Response flow charts
  • Document non-standard problems and troubleshooting, industry best practices and risk mitigation plans
  • Ensure equipment repairs and changes according to operating specifications and manuals
  • Communicate safety & reliability issues
  • Performing other duties as required or directed by your supervisor


  • Honours Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic or equivalent with a minimum five years relevant work experience is required
  • Good knowledge of UPW systems, especially the Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic operations of UPW and/or repairs
  • Working knowledge of facilities systems and equipment and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications, Maximo, Document Control Systems and Cimplicity
  • Knowledgeable of operation, design and construction practices, P&IDs
