IChemE Ireland Appointment
Philip Healy, Senior Process Safety Engineer based in PM Group's Cork office, was recently appointed Chair of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) All Ireland Members Group committee.
The role of the Chair is to lead the committee in organising a programme of events that enhances the value of IChemE membership in Ireland. The Chair has an important role to play in supporting and mentoring younger committee members, who may in future go on to hold positions of greater responsibility, thus ensuring the sustainability of the group.
Commenting on the appointment Philip said, “I am delighted to take on this role. I hope in the coming year that we engage with All Ireland Group members and that by providing online CPD events we can help in keeping our skills and knowledge current. I look forward also to meeting members from other professional bodies to discuss how we can meet common objectives”.
