Innovative approach to whisky distilling

Located in the city of Emeishan in Sichuan province, the distillery will incorporate an innovative approach to malt whisky-making inspired by its surrounding area.

Pernod Ricard’s US$150m investment will be phased over the next decade. The design will adopt a vernacular approach, incorporating materials from the area.The distillery will house an “immersive” visitor centre which is set to open in 2021. PM Group has been leading this project since concept design and land selection as EPCM partner, realising the signature architectural design of Neri&Hu.
