PM Group was honoured to be shortlisted for its MIND (Mentoring in New Dimensions) Programme recently.

MIND is designed to support graduates in their professional and personal development. The programme was shortlisted by the Irish Institute for Training & Development (IITD) in the ‘Best Coaching or Mentoring Initiative’ category. The awards are due to take place in September 2023.

Being selected as a finalist by the IITD is a huge honour and a fantastic achievement for the entire organisation. We are constantly looking at ways we can develop our people and support them as they grow their careers. This is a great recognition for the programme and everyone involved,” said Roisin Doyle, L&D Business Partner – Mentoring & Coaching, PM Group.

The name ‘Mentoring in New Dimensions’ (MIND) reflects the changing nature of PM Group’s business and an increased focus on diversity and inclusion. Recognising its effectiveness, we are now using the MIND framework as the basis for other key mentoring programmes,” said Una Healy, Group Head of Learning & Development, PM Group.

A key objective of MIND is to provide mentors with the tools and frameworks to successfully mentor our graduates.  With the help of the Programme, graduates are enabled to:

  • Increase their self-confidence within the workplace
  • Strengthen their communication skills
  • Ask questions and get feedback and advice
  • Gain new or different perspectives
  • Increase their job satisfaction
