Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s first ever Dragon Boat Race raised over £120,000 worth of vital funds that will make life changing differences to its patients. We had great fun taking part!

Members of our UK team tackled the waters of Birmingham’s canals, where 20 teams competed in a fun filled day of fundraising with plenty of healthy competition. The PM Group team paddled an impressive 01:07.87 in their fastest race of the day.

Paul George, our Birmingham office’s CR Champion said, “We are proud to have been supporting the charity for the last two years. When we heard about the plans for this event, we wanted to get involved as we knew it would be an opportunity to support in a way that hasn’t been possible during the pandemic.

We had people travel to Birmingham from as far as Manchester and Southampton to take part, with supporters cheering them on too. This not only emphasised our passion to support the charity, but also the valuable team building opportunity the event created”.

The team are still seeking sponsorships to keep the fundraising going. You can donate on the team’s Just Giving page.
