Dave Murphy, PM Group CEO, was recently presented with the Enterprise Ireland 'Graduate of Outstanding Innovation Achievement' Award at Cork Institute of Technology’s annual Mechanical, Manufacturing and BioMedical Engineering Exhibition.

Dave was awarded in recognition of his career to date and his leadership of PM Group since 2011.  The company has an average turnover of €310m with 2,500 people across Europe, Asia and the USA.

“I am greatly honoured to receive this award. I feel its an acknowledgement not just for me, but also for PM Group and the way we have embraced Innovation as an organisation. It is particularly important to me as I believe strongly in the value of careers in STEM.  As an Alumnus of CIT, I have benefited over my career from the great opportunities available to engineering graduates. It is very special to be awarded by my college,” said Dave.

Keep innovating

“In our business it’s vital that we keep innovating and finding new ways to solve our company’s and our clients’ challenges. We recognise that CIT and other academic institutions do a fantastic job in educating the STEM professionals who will shape our future success. Our people actively collaborate with third level institutions through mentoring and supporting student projects, intern schemes and our graduate programme.  We are recruiting over 100 graduates every year in PM Group to support our international growth. This creates high quality career opportunities
