IChemE Global Awards – What’s it all about?

In their 25th year, the awards celebrate chemical and process engineering excellence. They recognise outstanding projects, people and companies in process driven industries.

The awards provide a platform for identifying and promoting achievements in chemical engineering. These achievements are based on skilled engineering which raise standards and performance of important processes in key sectors.

Teams and individuals from all fields of chemical engineering enter the awards. Pharma, food and energy are some of the sectors represented. Younger engineers also get recognised through the Young Industrialist and Young Researcher categories.

Congratulations to Micropore Technologies and ExxonMobil Chemical for winning the Pharma and Process Safety awards sponsored by PM Group.

Raising Quality in Engineering

As well as being a Bronze Corporate Partner of IChemE, we have been a sponsor of the Global awards for many years.

PM Group focuses on both recognising and helping raise quality in engineering. We sponsor the awards to show our support in enhancing the quality of chemical and process engineering in a key sector and service area of ours.

Development Programmes

Our Pharma SME Development Programme is an initiative for developing our people’s skills and expertise. A goal is to enhance the quality of engineering in the Pharma sector. The Programme was a finalist in the Training and Development category at this year’s awards.

Our Next Graduate Programme also helps our young professionals become chartered with IChemE. Ade Oyawoye, who has completed the programme, was also a finalist at this year’s awards in the Young Industrialist category. Ade has developed his skills on a variety of complex Pharma projects..
