Celebrating Chemical and Process Engineering Excellence

For the 3rd year running, we are sponsoring the Pharma Award, which recognises the best project, process or technology that demonstrates chemical engineering excellence in the Pharma sector.

We are also pleased to sponsor the Process Safety Award for the first time. The Process Safety award underlines our commitment to safety and recognises organisations that have an exemplary record in implementing process safety best practice and improvements to reduce major hazards and risks.

Seona Turner, UK Head of EHS said, “Process Safety is central to all projects. The need to continuously evaluate process safety throughout the project lifecycle is not often understood.  Raising awareness of this very important aspect of project delivery is a key goal.  So it was a natural fit for us to sponsor the Process Safety Award and there are a lot of great finalists in this year’s category.”

As well as being a key component of its safe delivery of projects, PM Group provides clients with standalone specialist process safety services and expertise to meet specific, challenging requirements. Earlier in 2019, our guidance on firewater retention was adopted by the UN.

About the Awards

The IChemE Global Awards recognise outstanding projects, people and companies. Each year they bring together chemical engineers from across the world to recognise their peers' significant achievements.

Shortlisted

We are also delighted to have two finalists this year. Ade Oyawoye has been shortlisted for the Young Industrialist Award, while our Pharma SME Development Programme for the Training and Development Award. The ceremony will be held on 7th November at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Hull.
