Ricardo Filho arrived to Dublin from Brazil in 2016. He won a scholarship to study engineering at University College Dublin. He had to use all his ingenuity raise funds for his travel, living and studying expenses in Ireland.
Despite facing huge obstacles, Ricardo persevered with his dream of making a career as engineer. He achieved a Master’s degree and today he works as a graduate Engineer in PM Group’s Dublin Mechanical department.
“I’m completing my first year on PM Group’s Graduate Programme”, Says Ricardo. “At the moment I’m getting great experience on a major Biotech project. I’m also working towards achieving LEED Accredited Professional status to contribute to our Sustainability Group's activities. I really enjoy working within the Dublin mechanical team. The atmosphere, the people and the opportunities to learn are great!"
