About us - PM Group
We were very proud to receive the Supreme Award for the first time at the recent 2019 NISO Annual Health and Safety Awards. We were also honoured to receive the Exceptional High Achiever Award.
The Supreme Safety Award is presented to the organisation that has shown consistently good or continuously improving health and safety performance over a number of years and an outstanding contribution to occupational safety, health and welfare during the previous year.
A number of Exceptional High Achiever awards were presented to organisations that consistently achieved a high standard safety award for more than ten years, representing their continuous commitment to health and safety in their organisation.
Submissions are made annually to demonstrate the application and on-going development of our robust systems for managing safety throughout the project life cycle.
In each of the last five years, PM Group has received a minimum of Distinction level in the NISO scheme. This is due to our proactive health and safety management system combined with evidence of exemplary safety performance.
"Success in these awards is recognition of the efforts and commitment of everyone in PM Group, together with our project partners, to achieving exemplary safety performance standards on all of our projects. Thank you to all involved for your continued commitment and leadership in implementing our core value of Health and Safety", said David Tomlinson, Group Head of Health and Safety, PM Group.
Our thanks goes to Irving Oil Whitegate Refinery, the Sponsor of the Supreme Award, and to all taking part who are helping to raise the standards of health and safety across industries.
