PM Group recorded a strong performance in 2019 and solid trading for the first half of 2020. We are currently recruiting across all disciplines as we continue to grow to support a range of international projects for our multi-national client base.

Over 110 graduates will start on the Group’s award winning “NEXT” programme this year with 65 in Ireland alone. The remaining roles are for experienced positions across key disciplines.

Client investment

“Despite the impact of Covid-19 on the global economy, our clients have continued to invest. In many respects, the sectors in which we operate are very active dealing with the consequences of the pandemic. Therapeutics and vaccine manufacturing, food and consumer goods processing, medical devices and diagnostics, as well as data centres are attracting significant investment to meet rapidly evolving needs. With the strength of our 2,800 team and our international footprint we are uniquely placed to help them.” said Dave Murphy, Chief Executive of PM Group.

Unique culture and world class projects

“We are delighted to be in a position to continue to recruit significant numbers of both graduates and more experienced staff over the remainder of the year to meet our anticipated needs. We believe that our unique culture as well as the opportunity to help deliver world class projects across a range of sectors is a winner for us in attracting and retaining talent.” Dave continued.

PM Group reported a strong performance in 2019 with operating profits of €26.7 million in 2019, an increase of 71% on prior year. This performance was achieved on the back of underlying fee revenue which increased by 23%.

PM Group’s overall revenue fell to €344 million from €406 million due to a significant reduction in pass-through revenue where the Group carries procurement and contract costs on behalf of clients. Net assets increased by 37% to €85 million, underpinning the Group’s capacity to invest in further development and growth.

“The strong performance of the Group in 2019 is a testament to the hard work of all our people in offices and on sites around the world,” said Dan Flinter, Chairman of PM Group. "This year has brought an unprecedented challenge in Covid-19 and the clear priority has been to take every step possible to protect the health and safety of everyone who works across the Group. The skills and experience of our colleagues enabled them to quickly adapt to distributed working and to embrace the new protocols at client sites.”

Adaptable, talented team

“We experienced a strong year’s trading in 2019 and thankfully this has continued through 2020” said Dave Murphy, Chief Executive of PM Group. ”I want to especially pay tribute to my colleagues who continue to deliver very complex projects day in and day out for our clients. The last six months has proven what a dedicated, adaptable and talented team we have across the organisation.”
