Greenergy acquired and planned to develop two sites in South West England.  The sites included facilities for storage of petroleum products and blending of biofuels into unleaded petrol and diesel.

The project

The scope included Technical Due Diligence, followed by a two-year improvement plan agreed with the HSE and EA to get the sites back in operation. The team (formerly PM Projen) then carried out initial FEED study and costings, and were subsequently engaged as EPCM Contractor and Process Consultant.

Successful delivery

The project involved demolition and a new build installation of 15 tanks and refurbishment to applicable codes. The site was also upgraded in line with the post Buncefield / PSLG recommendations.

The team designed, built and commissioned in a very dynamic environment resulting in a successfully delivered project. The project was completed with minimal interruptions to Greenergy’s business.
