Consistent quality service

The Givaudan new flavour production facility in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China was delivered in two phases. Phase 1, was completed in 2015 and comprised of powdered flavour production. Phase 2, is due to be operational in late 2018 is a Class A & C liquid production facility. Following our successful delivery of Phase 1 of their facility at Nantong, PM Group were re-appointed to complete Phase 2.

PM Group are full engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM) services for the expansion of the existing site in Nantong. Our EPCM scope of services also includes; LDI Management, Permitting, Procurement, Contractor Selection, Construction Management, Safety Management, Commissioning and Handover

Consistent safety record

Our health and safety philosophy is 'promoting safety leadership' we instil this in all the work we do. Phase 2 of this project safely delivered 850,000 manhours without an LTI. This significant milestone was achieved through the dedication and support of the site leadership team and the client

The challenge

The main challenge was meeting the site plot ratio and class A code requirements. The PM Group Architectural and Process team worked closely with the client and local authorities to develop a site master plan that met the complex China code requirements for Class A and GMP while meeting a challenging plot ratio requirement.
