Mondelēz International, one of the world's largest snacks companies, opened a new research and development quality centre adjacent to its manufacturing facility in Bielany, Wroclaw. Subsequently, the centre was expanded to include a new Gum and Candy Pilot Plant. Many of its products are manufactured with unique technologies that are not used by other manufacturers in Poland.

The project
PM Group supported Mondelēz International in the creation of an exceptional environment for staff and visitors in the R&D building, most of which was to be used by “testers” of the company's new confectionery products. PM Group's remit also included interior design for all office areas including collaborative spaces.

Our challenge
The overall design was developed in close co-operation with the client. It was compliant with the stringent technical standards of Mondelēz International.
State-of-the-art
The Pilot Plant included large product development kitchens, laboratories and various ancillary areas. The end result was a state-of-the-art space for 250 highly qualified employees who work on innovative technologies and new packaging designs.
