PM Group reports strong performance for 2025

PM Group has announced its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025 and an update on trading for 2026.

  • PM Group reported overall revenue, which includes subcontractor revenue, of €567 million in 2025.
  • Underlying professional services fee revenue grew by 17%
  • €43.4 million operating profit, a 24.4% increase on the previous year
  • Net assets grew to €175 million which, combined with minimal debt, underpins the Group’s capacity to support further investment and drive growth

This strong performance was achieved against a challenging backdrop influenced by economic and political uncertainty across markets during the year. A significant contributor to this growth was the continued expansion of PM Group's US business, which delivered a record year supported by major life sciences projects and increasing demand from global clients.

In 2025, PM Group headcount increased by over 300 to now stand at 4,000 across the Group. Trading in the early months of 2026 has been strong supported by growth in the US and Europe in Life Sciences and Data Centre projects.

Anthony O’Rourke, CEO of PM Group said: “We are pleased to report a strong performance for 2025, with all regions contributing to profitability and continued growth across the Group. This was achieved against a complex geopolitical and economic backdrop, which makes the performance particularly encouraging. The first six months of 2026 have been positive, and we look forward to another successful year.

Ireland remains our largest market and a core part of the Group, delivering a robust performance in 2025 while continuing to support major client projects both here and across our international footprint. Our Europe division had a very good year with strong revenue growth across all services. The US delivered a record performance, building our reputation and track record for delivery of larger complex projects in this key market. The UK division also performed well, driven by the diversification of work supporting client projects both in the UK and across Europe. Our Asia division delivered another solid performance and has secured a number of projects for key clients in China and Singapore for 2026.

A highlight of 2025 was the adoption of a new strategic plan to 2029, titled Precision Magnified. Life Sciences will remain front and centre for the business with a strategic target to grow significantly in the US and mainland Europe. We’ve experienced a step change in the development of data centres. We have established a dedicated Data Centres division and a pan European delivery platform to deliver large scale data centre projects for clients across Europe. We are also targeting expert services such as Automation, Process Safety, Environmental and Digital and have set up a new Emerging Solutions Division to support the growth in these services. The strategy provides us with a clear vision for the future with increased investment in targeted international and sectoral growth, innovation, digital capability and next-generation project delivery.”

Brendan Jennings, Chairperson of PM Group said: “The Group’s operational and financial performance is testament to the expertise and drive of the almost 4,000 colleagues across the world. Safety is also a mission critical element of our operations. It is notable that PM Group achieved its best ever safety performance across 15 million hours worked in 2025.Given our strong and experienced leadership team, our track record of delivery on large scale, complex projects in Europe, North America and Asia, the resilience and dynamism of the business, I am confident for the future and look forward to realising our strategic ambitions.”

Outlook 2026

The Group entered 2026 with positive momentum, carrying forward the strong performance and project activity from 2025. First quarter trading was ahead of expectations, supported by a strong backlog of secured work and encouraging activity across most sectors and services.

Growth in the USA and Europe, particularly across Life Sciences and Data Centres, continues to support the Group’s performance. While activity in the Irish Life Sciences market is expected to moderate during the year, PM Group is well positioned to respond by deploying its capabilities across growing Data Centre opportunities and expanding international markets.

The Group remains mindful of a more uncertain external environment, with geopolitical and economic developments continuing to influence client decision-making and the timing, location and scale of investment. Against this backdrop, PM Group will remain agile and disciplined, while continuing to invest in the strategic priorities set out in its business strategy, Precision Magnified 2025–2029.
