Data4 inaugurates new data centre near Warsaw in Poland

The 10MW facility has achieved a BREEAM “Excellent” rating.

Congratulations to Data4 Group on the recent inauguration of its second data centre in Poland. It's located at the campus in Jawczyce, in the municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki near Warsaw. With technologically advanced infrastructure, this new 10 MW facility comes at a time when demand for computing power continues to surge, driven by cloud services and artificial intelligence.

The project contributes to the dynamic growth of Poland’s digital infrastructure. The country’s data centre capacity is projected to increase from around 300 MW today to nearly 500 MW by 2030. Ultimately, it is planned that the entire campus in Jawczyce will reach a total capacity of 60 MW and approximately 50,000 sqm of gross floor area.

PM Group’s services on this project included Construction Project Management and coordination of BREEAM certification.

Focus on performance and sustainability
The new building has achieved a BREEAM “Excellent” rating, as the first facility of its kind in Poland, reflecting strong environmental performance. Its modular design – 60% of which was prefabricated off-site – helped reduce construction time, limit emissions, and minimize the use of concrete.

Data4 aims to maintain Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) below 1.3 across its new sites, powered by 100% low-carbon energy.

Building resilience to climate change
Data4 actively participates in the European Climate-Adapt4 EOSC project, which focuses on anticipating the effects of climate change on critical infrastructure. The campus will serve as a testing ground for predictive tools assessing geotechnical risks, particularly those linked to clay soils.
