LauraLynn supports children with life limiting conditions and offers vital in home services to families across the country.
PM Group’s team was pleased to work with the organisation to deliver a pro bono Energy Audit and Decarbonisation Plan for its Dublin facility as part of the PM Group Community Programme.
The study involved a comprehensive evaluation of opportunities to improve energy performance. It provides a roadmap to help LauraLynn meet its energy and emissions reduction targets. It also includes guidance on expected savings and project implementation.
The report’s findings showed strong potential for reducing energy use and emissions, with low, medium and high investment opportunities identified.
These include:
-
Energy‑saving opportunities that could deliver a reduction of approx 66% in on‑site energy consumption and CO₂ emissions and,
-
Up to approx 50% reduction in annual energy costs.
The plan also supports LauraLynn’s wider site development vision, which includes future upgrades and possible expansion.
The plan is now helping to shape important decisions for the years ahead. By investing in sustainability, LauraLynn can protect its resources, strengthen its services, and ensure that support reaches the families who need it most.
“Thanks to the team at PM Group for all the hard work and generous support on this project,” said Bevan Ritchie, Head of Operations, Lauralynn. “They didn't just deliver an excellent report, they also educated all of us here at LauraLynn along the way.”
“Working with the LauraLynn team on this pro-bono assignment was a pleasure. We are grateful for the opportunity to support an organisation doing such important and meaningful work,” said Shane Doyle, Sustainability Specialist, PM Group.
