Net-Zero targets validated by SBTi

Validation of PM Group's 2030 and 2045 science-based net-zero targets

PM Group is pleased to announce the confirmation of our near-term and net-zero science-based targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

This milestone reflects our commitment to aligning with the latest climate science and contributing to the global effort to limit warming to 1.5°C.

Our validated targets include:
  • Near-Term target: Reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030, and Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030.
  • Net-Zero target: Achieve net-zero emissions across our value chain by 2045.

These targets were developed using SBTi’s rigorous methodologies and validated through their independent review process. The validation confirms that our decarbonisation pathway is consistent with the Paris Agreement goals.

We are committed to transparency and will continue sharing updates on our progress. We will work closely with all stakeholders in our operations and supply chain. Our decarbonisation strategy prioritises improving energy efficiency and transitioning to clean energy, along with encouraging sustainable travel choices and assessing supply chain emissions.

“Achieving the SBTi Net-Zero Standard validation is a testament to our strong commitment to sustainability and to driving our industry towards a net-zero future,” said Barry McDermott, Group Head of Sustainability at PM Group.
“This milestone strengthens our commitment to being a low-carbon supplier of sustainable solutions and enabling our clients and supply chain partners to build a resilient, low-carbon future.”
