PM Group win Industrial Building Project of the Year Award

The award recognises the design and construction of a ‘first of its kind’, biologics innovation acceleration facility. It is an exemplar project for innovation of both the physical asset and project execution approach. Completed in 24 months, it set a new speed benchmark for a biologics facility of this scale and complexity. 

According to Mike McDonald, Integration Director, PM Group, “We are delighted to receive this fantastic award. It is reflects the pride we take in our contribution to the success of the project. Our team showed huge commitment and capability in its delivery. It has been a privilege to work on a facility that will positively impact the lives of thousands of patients in the future.” 

The 20,000 m2 facility is designed for pharmaceutical research, development and manufacture. It comprises both continuous and batch processing manufacturing. The unique facility is equipped with the latest technology for the production of life changing cancer treatments.
