We are delighted to announce that PM Group has been shortlisted in two categories for this year’s IChemE Global Awards.

Process engineer, Sam Dean from our UK team has been shortlisted in the Young Industrialist category. Also, our group-wide D&I programme has been shortlisted in the D&I category.

Sam’s shortlisting is the seventh time PM Group's up and coming process engineers have been recognised in this category.

In parallel, this is the first year we have entered the D&I category. The submission focused on our journey to building a global diversity & inclusion programme within our organisation.

Said Javier Lozano, UK Head of Process Engineering; “It is testament to Sam and the important role he has played on projects in the pharma and chemical sectors, helping to develop important facilities that support everyday life. It is also a credit to PM Group's training and development, growing the next generation of process engineers.”

Group Head of Corporate Responsibility, Cathriona Fitzsimons, added; “Having our D&I programme recognised in the IChemE Awards demonstrates the focus we have on building inclusive workplaces. Making D&I everybody’s responsibility at PM Group has embedded a culture of respect and inclusion across our international network. Tangible benefits are already being seen internally and externally.”

Look out for more information about this in the coming weeks and more about our sponsorship of the Process Safety Award.
