Facilities Coordinator based in our Cork Offices

We have a vacancy for a Facilities Coordinator based in our Cork Offices

 

This is a full-time role reporting to the Facilities Lead. The successful candidate will be part of the Facilities Team responsible for the PM Group Offices in Loughmahon Technology Park and Fota Business Park.

 

Job Role and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Complete daily Health & Safety, housekeeping and preventive maintenance checks in the building
  • Support all maintenance activities and internal projects in both offices
  • Oversee Suppliers and Service Providers activities ensuring they meet contracted obligations in a safe, effective and efficient manner and seek opportunities for improvement
  • Manage the Office Suppliers & Service Providers required Insurance, Safety, Method and Environmental documentation 
  • Assist in the management of the day to day facilities support services in the offices
  • Assist in the continued Office accreditation to ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001, ensuring compliance with Company and legislative policies in quality, environmental and health & safety
  • Coordinate all Facilities and maintenance requests logged on the Helpdesk ensuring timely close out
  • Responsible for the control and ordering of P.P.E and the on-line ordering of office stationary supplies
  • Be available as after-hours Facilities Emergency Contact, on a rotation basis
  • Actively participate in internal moves and to optimise space planning ensuring minimum disruption to core activities
  • Assist in the completion of workstation ergonomic assessments for new starts
  • Any other duties that may be required by the Facilities Lead

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 7 Engineering qualification or similar preferred
  • Previous experience of working within a facilities / maintenance / property management environment is an advantage
  • Role will require individual to have the flexibility to work outside of normal hours on a regular basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with internal stakeholders, external contractors and service providers
  • Excellent organisational skills, combined with ability to prioritise competing demands and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • High attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to use own initiative and possess an adaptable, highly organised and flexible approach to work
  • Own transport with full clean driving licence is essential as travel between both Cork Offices is an aspect of the position
