PM Group is pleased to announce the award of the Detailed Design of a 12,000m2 Chemical Innovation Plant project in Germany.

This is a new API facility within the existing campus in Ingelheim planned for the late stage development of New Chemical Entities (NCEs). The multi-million-euro facility will incorporate the latest technologies, processing capability and automated processes. PM Group has been working closely with Boehringer Ingelheim since September 2020. The company completed the basic design in 2021 and will complete the detailed design in Q4 2023. It is expected the new facility will be fully commissioned in 2025.

We are delighted to have won the Permitting, Detailed Design and Procurement scope of this major API project, following the completion of Basic Design stage in 2021. It marks a significant milestone in our own strategy to grow our business in Germany,” said Andrea Brunetti, Western Europe Operations Director, PM Group.

We’re really excited about setting out on the next stage of the project and the positive engagement we have with the team at Boehringer Ingelheim. In PM Group we will have upwards of 100 people working across our offices. Key to winning the project is the deep technical expertise and experience of our teams who work with the world’s leading pharma organisations,” said Richard Horvath, Operations Manager Germany & Netherlands, PM Group.

PM Group’s team of professional advisers includes process design, structural engineering, project management, construction, and commissioning.
