Construction Post COVID-19 Webinar
Join us to hear insights from an expert panel of industry leaders including Google, Dornan Group, CIF and Linesight as we discuss constructability issues in a post COVID-19 world.

Mick Lynam, Director of Project Delivery, PM Group will take part in a cross-industry webinar on the impact of COVID-19 on construction projects. The Webinar brings together industry leaders from Google, PM Group, Dornan Engineering, the CIF and Linesight.
Future construction execution
The panel will assess constructability issues and discuss future construction execution philosophies. The debate will include cost implications as well as modular and digital technology opportunities.
Project framing and shaping factors
Mick will talk about new project ‘framing and shaping’ factors in the context of COVID-19. He will outline some of the key challenges and success factors as projects are now scoped and planned. These include:
- Key execution philosophies for project team formation
- Design team approaches in the areas of constructability and offsite fabrication
- Recognition of the new balance in classic scope-schedule-risk-cost trade-offs

Mr. Daniel Costello, VP for Data Center Engineering, Google – Daniel will discuss the large-scale challenges in addressing productivity, supply chain as well as the health and safety implications issues post COVID-19.
Micheál O’Connor, Deputy Managing Director, Dornan Engineering Ltd – Micheál will discuss new methods of working and strategies to enable delivery of efficient and safe sites including the role of technology in planning and digital modelling and off-site construction
Shane Dempsey, Director of Communications & Government Relations, Construction Industry Federation (CIF) - Shane will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on construction now and in the future including the impact of COVID-19 on NDP, Project Ireland 2040 and digital construction in a COVID-19 world.
Mr. Paul Boylan, CCO, Linesight – Paul will chair the panel while discussing scheduling large and complex projects post COVID-19 and the cost implications of supply chain delivery issues
